Where Does the Money Go?

Up to 75% of the net proceeds from this Race will remain in the Southeast Tennessee/Northwest Georgia area to fund a variety of local breast cancer programs and services.

Since its inception in the fall of 2000, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, Chattanooga Affiliate has awarded grants totaling over $1,550,719 to local breast health organizations.

At least 25% of the net proceeds will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. Of this money
35% goes for research & awards
28% for education
12% for screening
11% for fundraising
8% for treatment
6% for administration

Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is registered in Texas as a nonprofit corporation. Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is a public charity exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our Federal Employer Tax ID number is 75–2875175.
